Welcome Back to “God is Not Boxable” Private Podcast & Blog For Business Owners.

Where business and faith collide, this podcast focuses on God's Principles and Promises regarding you and your business.

My name is Shaniece M. Wise. I am the host of this podcast and am a Business Expansion Coach and Strategist. I teach business owners how to grow their visibility, increase their profitability, and improve their systems and strategies.

In our last episode, I shared how "Eyes Have Not Seen, Ears Have Not Heard" which is a profound promise found in 1 Corinthians 2:9

In this episode, Inviting Blessings: Mastering Prayer for Business Success we dive into the powerful tool of prayer, exploring how integrating prayer into both the minor and major aspects of your business can create profound impacts, guided by scriptural wisdom and God’s principles.

Prayer is not just a spiritual practice; it's a strategic tool that can guide, protect, and grow your business. By covering every decision, challenge, and opportunity in prayer, you open up your business to divine direction and insight.

Scriptural Foundations:

  • Philippians 4:6 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." This scripture encourages us to bring all matters to God, from the smallest concerns to the largest decisions.

  • James 5:16 - "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." This emphasizes the effectiveness of prayer, assuring us that it can lead to dynamic results in our business.

  • Proverbs 16:3 - "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." This verse highlights the importance of committing every business plan and action into God’s hands through prayer.

Implementing Prayer in Business:

  1. Daily Operations: Start your day by praying for your tasks, meetings, and interactions. Ask for efficiency, favor, and wisdom in all you do.

  1. Decision Making: Before making any significant decisions, seek God’s guidance through prayer to ensure your choices align with His will and bring the best outcomes for your business.

  2. Team and Relationships: Regularly pray for your employees, partners, and clients. Pray for their well-being, for productive relationships, and for conflicts to be resolved in harmony.

  1. Growth and Expansion: Cover your plans for growth in prayer. Whether it’s entering a new market, launching a product, or hiring new staff, ask God to direct your steps.

  1. Challenges and Crises: In times of difficulty, turn to prayer to navigate challenges. This not only brings solutions but also peace, keeping you grounded and focused.

To effectively pray over your business, it’s crucial to:

  1. Be Specific: Clearly articulate what you need guidance, help, or thanksgiving for in your prayers.

  2. Be Consistent: Make prayer a regular part of your business routine, not just a last resort.

  3. Be Open: Listen for God’s responses, which can come through thoughts, feelings, other people, or situations.

Prayer is a foundational tool for any Christian entrepreneur. By praying over every area of your business, you invite God's wisdom, peace, and guidance into your endeavors. This not only influences your business practices but also aligns your enterprise with God’s purposes.

Thank you for joining me for Episode 9. May this guide inspire you to integrate prayer into every aspect of your business, trusting that God will move mightily on your behalf. Remember, no element of your business is too small or too large to benefit from the power of prayer.
